Should I paint it Turquoise?





Its not antique , it just looks like it.. and since I'm so into Turquoise lately , what do you think.. Should I paint it turquoise? just like this?

    i painted a giant dresser of mine a robin's egg blue, and i'm really happy with the color. i think you should go for it!

    I love Whimsy...just as my name suggests~I say paint it Turquoise! I love that color as well! Stop by my blog and look at my post on before and afters. There is a dresser I painted turquoise and it is so pretty! I agree I would go a little brighter...more like the color I painted. Can't wait to see the after!

    yes! That would look wonderful. Depending on your room a bright shade of turquoise would look great in a whisical room. I would personally go for a paler, softer shade for my house, but that just because a bright shade would stick out to much. Hopefully you will post the finished product, I would love to see it!

    Can I go opposite everyone and say no?..only because it will date quickly and you want soemthing that looks good in the long run. perhaps include some white/ gold trimming to make it more classic?

    Jane.. That is an interesting idea.. I mean why not.. I'm gonna start with Turquoise and see how it feels and looks within the house.. if its too standing out .. then your white and gold choice is A VERY excellent alternative~ thanks !!

    I say yes... while I am not a big color person- the little bit of color that I do have in my house is in the turqoise family! Love it.
